Buildfest creates a practical space for college students to work with existing products and new ideas. Participants will explore real problems, understand users, build with technology and present what they learn. This website is the knowledge hub for the initiative; registration and hackathon operations will run through a separate system. Every initiative says who it is for and what stage it has reached. Dates, venues, collaborators and rewards appear once they are settled, so a detail you cannot find yet is still being worked out rather than deliberately held back.
Who it serves
College students and young technology builders.
Why Buildfest exists
Students learn deeply when they work on meaningful problems, make decisions and receive useful feedback. Buildfest is designed to make that process visible and practical.
Stay informed
This page carries announcements, preparation material and programme updates as Buildfest develops, and the Insights library covers how to prepare for a hackathon in more depth.
Learning through practical work
Participants gain more when they investigate a real situation, make focused decisions and explain what they learned. Vedspace initiatives connect teamwork, product thinking and technology so the process matters as much as the final demonstration.
Check the details before you commit
Eligibility, schedule, venue and participation links are listed as they are settled, and registration for some programmes runs on a separate system. Read the programme sections and the preparation resources before following an external link, and come back for results and highlights afterwards.
